Russia responds to NATO advance with missiles in its Europe enclave

Russia will deploy two advanced missile systems to its far-west territory of Kaliningrad in a direct response to NATO expansion in eastern Europe, a pro-Kremlin Russian lawmaker said Friday.Kaliningrad is a parcel of land disconnected from the Russian mainland that sits on the coast of the Baltic sea, sandwiched between Poland and Lithuania.A Russian deployment of S-400 surface-to-air missiles and nuclear-capable Iskander balistic missiles to Kaliningrad, with its proximity to NATO member states, will undoubtedly heighten concerns among leaders of the transatlantic security alliance, who were already nervous over incoming American leader Donald Trump’s commitment to their collective defense pact.  

DYI:  CBS NEWS actually has the headline correct!  Russia is responding to the Alliance's [U.S. U.K. NATO EU] aggressive moves in surrounding the Russian Federation with new members.  As I've stated before and repeat it again this is a natural resource war.  Russia is the wounded bear and the Alliance smells blood - attempting to colonize her vast resources - for their global natural resource corporations.

Russia is not perfect.  They have problems that are significant - TB outbreaks, HIV, alcoholism, low birth rate, underpopulated, corruption etc.  Their economy has been compared GDP as that of Italy.  It is less than that going by the IMF figures.  They rank 12th in the world behind Italy, Brazil, Canada, South Korea, then Russia, Australia and Spain who are very close in GDP to Russia.

What is the attempt??  The Alliance is attempting to bankrupt Russia in an effort to go after the grand prize the political subdivisions east of the Ural Mountains breaking away from Russia forming new countries friendly to the Alliance and their global natural resource corporations.  Russia is very aware of this brinkmanship that has been played out by Napoleon, World War I and II.  If Russia's back is pushed up against the door nuclear weapons will be deployed.

The election of Donald Trump hopefully this nonsense will be put to rest.  It will be a mighty task as he will have to overcome the Alliance along with the military industrial complex itching for a new profitable arms race.
