As America is Distracted with National Elections Tensions Heightened on the Korean Peninsula as North Korea Tests it's Fifth Atomic Bomb!

South Korean military floats plan for ‘decapitation strikes’ to decimate North’s leadership: report

BY
In the wake of Pyongyang’s fifth and biggest nuclear test Friday, the South Korean military is reportedly touting the value of so-called decapitation strikes on the North Korean leadership.
Decapitation or “beheading” strikes are targeted attacks to eliminate an adversary’s leader or leadership in an attempt to disrupt or destroy its chain of command as soon as a crisis breaks out or appears imminent.
In the case of the Korean Peninsula, an impending nuclear attack by the North would trigger such a strike. The target: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un himself.
Seoul has already developed a plan to “annihilate” Pyongyang in a massive bombing campaign if the North shows signs of a nuclear attack, the Yonhap news agency quoted an unidentified South Korean military source as saying Sunday.

DYI Comments:  The speed to which tensions are building has been increasing yearly when it crescendo's war will break out.  It is possible that all of the players will be brought into the mix as historical animosities come into play along with the most important aspect natural resource wars(oil & gas).

All that would be needed is for North and South Korea to go to war as the U.S. is stretched militarily China will make a move to further cement their presence in the East and South China Sea region.  If thing get way out of hand and North Korea nukes a city in South Korea China would take advantage of the situation by conquering Taiwan.  To put an end to the hostilities China will play their aces by invading North Korean ending the conflict on the peninsula.  China will threaten South Korea with being conquered if the U.S. demands that Taiwan regain their independence - treaty on no treaty - Taiwan will be lost.  The U.S. will not go to war with China at this time it is due to our strategic goals set by our State Department.

U.S. Strategic Goals

Since the end of WWII our State Department goals was/is to contain the Soviets, break apart the Soviet Union and finally dismember Russia itself then pivot taking on China.  This is a race against time before China becomes increasingly more powerful.  This is why the U.S. is placing increased military/economic pressure in an attempt to chase the Russian fleet out of the Black Sea.  This will allow our presence along with the alliance's [U.S. U.K. NATO EU] multinational natural resource companies into the oil and gas rich Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.  The ultimate goal is for Russia to lose control of her political subdivision east of the Urals creating new countries friendly to the alliance and their oil and gas corporations.  This will effect a land pivot to China.

U.S. Grand Strategy

1.)  The Complete domination of North America by the United States Army.

2.)  The elimination of any threat to the U.S. by any power in the Western Hemisphere.

3.)  Complete control of the maritime approaches to the U.S. by the Navy to preclude invasion.

4.)  Complete domination of the world's oceans and seas to control international trade.

5.)  Prevent other nations challenging U.S. global naval AND SPACE BASED WEAPON SYSTEMS.

There is an old saying by the professionals at the State Department:  "Presidents come and go but we run the show."  These five goals have been in development since the beginning of our republic.  Once you ignore all of the posturing, rhetoric, and bluster of our politicians you can cut through all the noise to the real direction of policy.
