Making Cold War to the End of the World

“Russia suspected of election scheme. U.S. probes plan to sow voter distrust.” That’s the Washington Post page-one lead headline of Sept. 6. Think about it. The election that Americans are suffering through, cringing in embarrassment, making them think of moving abroad, renouncing their citizenship; an election causing the Founding Fathers to throw up as they turn in their graves … this is because the Russian Devils are sowing voter distrust! Who knew? 

But of course, that’s the way Commies are – Oh wait, I forgot, they’re no longer Commies. So what are they? Ah yes, they still have that awful old hang-up so worthy of condemnation by decent people everywhere – They want to stand in the way of American world domination. The nerve!

A war between nuclear-powered United States and nuclear- powered Russia is “unthinkable.” Except that American military men think about it, like Cold-War U.S. General Thomas Power, speaking about nuclear war or a first strike by the U.S.: “The whole idea is to kill the bastards! At the end of the war, if there are two Americans and one Russian, we win!” The response from one of those present was: “Well, you’d better make sure that they’re a man and a woman.”

"We will beat you harder than you have ever been beaten before"

Army Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Milley warned last night that the United States was ready to “destroy” its enemies in comments that were clearly directed at Russia.

“I want to be clear to those who wish to do us harm….the United States military – despite all of our challenges, despite our [operational] tempo, despite everything we have been doing – we will stop you and we will beat you harder than you have ever been beaten before. Make no mistake about that,” said Milley.

Gen. Milley made it clear who he was talking about when he went on to quote a senior Russian official who vowed, “Russia can now fight a conventional war in Europe and win.”

The comments come amidst rising tensions between the two superpowers.

40 million Russians from all sectors of government are currently taking part in a nationwide emergency drill that will wargame “evacuation” procedures during a national crisis.

According to Oleg Manuilov, the director of the Russian Civil Defence Department, the exercise will be a test run of how the population would respond to a “disaster occurrence” under an “emergency” situation.

DYI Comments:  U.S. U.K. NATO EU - The alliance - is going full out to break up Russia with the loss of the Caucasus', the Laplands and the grand prize the political subdivisions east of the Urals creating new countries for multi-national corporations to extract natural resources.  Of course Russia is very aware of this; any slip up war will break out.  If Russia begins to lose in a conventional fight it is very possible tactical nukes will be deployed.  If Russian soil is attack then a nuclear exchange becomes possible.  Hopefully cool heads will prevail - at present the rhetoric is moving up to a fevers pitch!
