Arizona Obamacare Plan To Jump By 116 Percent When Premiums Go Up Next Year
The Department of Health and Human Services revealed Monday that premiums for a midlevel benchmark plan will increase an average of 25 percent across the 39 states served by the federally run online market, and that about 1 in 5 consumers will have plans only from a single insurer to pick from, after major national carriers such as UnitedHealth Group, Humana and Aetna scaled back their roles.
However, in Arizona, unsubsidized premiums for a hypothetical 27-year-old buying a benchmark “second-lowest cost silver plan” will jump by 116 percent, from $196 to $422, according to the administration report.
DYI Comments: ObamaCare is designed to keep the party going for the Medical Industrial Complex(MIC). What is happening in a nutshell is this:
1.) The MIC are liars...They inform [propaganda] American's through the main stream press that in order to have a first rate medical complex, that our citizens demand, will be onerously expensive. Sounds logical. It is a total B.S.!
Let's take MRIs as an example. So goes the logic that the machines are expensive, the technician is highly trained upping the cost, along with the radiologist who are highly paid as well. So....It's expensive - that's what it costs - and there is nothing you can do about it.
I've had my left knee MRIed 3 times in an attempt to determine why the back of the knee swells up, each time the cost that was charged was between $1,500 and $2,000. Whether paid out of pocket or through the insurance company that was the cost. As I age my knee will progressively worsen and when it becomes awful I'll have another MRI but with a twist. I'm going to Japan! A first world country that manufactures MRIs along with top notch technicians and radiologists. Total cost around a couple hundred bucks. That's right - its not a typo - $200 greenbacks! Japan's government DOES NOT SUBSIDIES HEALTH CARE COSTS. Why the HUGE cost differential? Point # 2.
2.) The Medical Industrial Complex is scamming you. That's right you are being BILKED - taken to the cleaners! This is more than just a lie, this is out right propaganda stating these costs are normal and reasonable. What is really happening is price fixing through the intentional buying up of competitors then closing their doors, those that remain "jack up" their prices or though affiliation with hospitals pushing up prices even higher.
3.) This is illegal....Big time...We are talking about MAJOR felonies. United States Code #1

Every contract, combination in the form of trust or otherwise, or conspiracy, in restraint of trade or commerce among the several States, or with foreign nations, is declared to be illegal. Every person who shall make any contract or engage in any combination or conspiracy hereby declared to be illegal shall be deemed guilty of a felony, and, on conviction thereof, shall be punished by fine not exceeding $100,000,000 if a corporation, or, if any other person, $1,000,000, or by imprisonment not exceeding 10 years, or by both said punishments, in the discretion of the court.
They have heavily greased the palms through campaign donations of Congressmen and Presidents - both parties - then heavily advertise to pressure the main stream news outlets from covering this obvious scam. Then through heavy propaganda have normalized these outrageous costs onto the American public.
4.) If these laws already on the books were to be enforced prices would drop - depending upon technology or service by 65% to 85%! There are mirrored laws at the State level along with consumer protection statues that any State Attorney General can enforce. This industry now at the GDP level of 20% has greased all the way to the local level thus normalizing and formalizing criminal behavior. This is corporate fascism.
5.) ObamaCare in my opinion is designed to keep the party going and when it fails the government will be the single party payer. At that point the Medical Industrial Complex will have the taxing power - borrowing power - and printing power(QE) to continue their scam for many more years until it crushes the American economy!
6.) ObamaCare is crap. The Medical Industrial Complex is the 800 pound gorilla in the room. Yet no one is talking about it - not even Donald Trump. I believe this has been so normalized and formalized Trump may think this is only an insurance problem - it is not.
7.) If this were to be enforced there never would have been a need for ObamaCare [or RomneyCare remember him?]. The cost of medical care would drop from its present 20% GDP back to its historical level around 5%. And that by the way is a 75% drop. A budget surplus would soar leaving plenty of money for infrastructure and our military plus paying down the national debt that would improve our citizens spending power by 2% per year as opposed to a decline of 5% to 8% per year.
THIS IS NOT AN OPINION BUT A MATHEMATICAL FACT...IF LEFT UNCHECKED WITHIN 7 TO 10 YEARS THE U.S. ECONOMY WILL BE CRUSHED.
