The top voting machine company in the country insists that its election systems are never connected to the internet.

But researchers found 35 of the systems have been connected to the internet for months and possibly years, including in some swing states.

Critical U.S. Election Systems Have Been Left Exposed Online

Despite Official Denials

For years, U.S. election officials and voting machine vendors have insisted that critical election systems are never connected to the internet and therefore can’t be hacked.
But a group of election security experts have found what they believe to be nearly three dozen back end election systems in 10 states connected to the internet over the last year, including some in critical swing states. These include systems in nine Wisconsin counties, in four Michigan counties, and in seven Florida counties—all states that are perennial battlegrounds in presidential elections.
DYI:  What is needed is a constitutional amendment to block any Federal agency from involvement in our elections.  DHS in my opinion and that of many others as well; the strong arm of our government in order to control the outcome of our elections.
Section 4
1: The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.
2: The Congress shall assemble at least once in every Year, and such Meeting shall be on the first Monday in December,5 unless they shall by Law appoint a different Day.
To say the least DHS needs to be done away with as many as I do that this agency is unconstitutional.  For our protection domestically we have Army Intelligence and outside our borders Naval Intelligence all of the remainders including [and especially] the CIA should be closed.
