Bin lorry sinks into road as street melts in soaring temperatures

And, while it has not yet been confirmed if the hot weather caused the surface deterioration, incidents of melting tarmac have been reported across the country. 

A crane was eventually used to remove the lorry. Engineers are investigating if the hole was the result of searing temperatures. 

The mercury is now set to go even higher, reaching a potential 33C (91.4F) in London and the southeast over the weekend – with some councils using gritting lorries to spread crushed rock dust on melting tar to create non-stick surfaces.

DYI:  Immediately went to weather.com and looked up the 10 day forecast.  Well lo and behold the temperature forecast of 90+ degrees for the weekend in the article is not even close.  Here are the high temperatures for the next 10 days in London.

July 9, 86 degrees [that's the highest]

July 10, 76 degrees

July 11, 77 degrees

July 12, 81 degrees

July 13, 82 degrees

July 14, 82 degrees

July 15, 82 degrees

July 16, 79 degrees

As you readily see the temperatures are not even close to what the author (article posted July 7, 2018) has stated and on top of that it is forecasted a mild wind for the next 10 days of 8mph to 13mph making for a very pleasant summer day [All of the lows are in the high 50's providing plenty of time for the asphalt to cool off].  

Enough to melt asphalt??  Not a chance most likely this article will only be seen here in the States as a means to PROPAGANDIZE the American public into believing global warming.  Plus when the top boys want to run a HOAX they all use numerology.  When using Celsius their forecast was a high of 33.  The number 33 is a number that represents a HOAX.
